July 15, 2024 - BASEBALL California League: The Modesto Nuts of the Low-A California League announced this week the 2024 season will be the team's final season in Modesto. The Nuts and the city of Modesto could not come to an agreement on a lease extension and who will pay for local ballpark renovations mandated by Major League Baseball to maintain the team's affiliation.
