Mendick and Colás homered to power the Charlotte Knights past the Syracuse Mets by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday in game two of the six-game series from Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte. April 16, 2024 - (UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) -- The Charlotte Knights opened a six-game home series against the Syracuse Mets with an 9-2 loss on Tuesday night from Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte, NC. The loss snapped Charlotte's two-game winning streak. The Knights scored both runs in the top of the first inning on solo home runs from third baseman Danny Mendick and right fielder Oscar Colás. Cannon Promoted, Will Make MLB Debut Tonight

April 16, 2024 - RHP Jonathan Cannon had his contract selected by the Chicago White Sox today. Cannon, 23, will make his Major League Debut tonight for the White Sox against the Kansas City Royals. So far this season, Knights have now promoted eight players to Chicago. April 15, 2024 - (UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) - RHP Nick Nastrini had his contract selected by the Chicago White Sox today. Nastrini, 24, will make his Major League Debut tonight with the White Sox against the Kansas City Royals at 7:40 p.m. ET.
