April 20, 2024 - BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Julien Gauthier scored two goals 28 seconds apart and the Bridgeport Islanders (25-38-7-2), American Hockey League affiliate of the New York Islanders, won their final game of the season, 4-1, over the Providence Bruins (41-21-6-3) at Total Mortgage Arena on Saturday. (April 20, 2024) - The Bridgeport Islanders (24-38-7-2) finish their 23rd AHL season tonight, hosting the Providence Bruins (41-20-6-3) at 7 p.m. inside Total Mortgage Arena. April 19, 2024 - BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Bridgeport Islanders (24-38-7-2), American Hockey League affiliate of the New York Islanders, fell to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (31-30-6-3), 3-0, at Total Mortgage Arena on Friday night. New York Islanders Sign Tikkanen, Jefferies to Entry-Level Contracts

April 19, 2024 - BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The New York Islanders have signed goaltender Henrik Tikkanen and forward Alex Jefferies to two-year, entry-level contracts that begin in 2024-25. Tikkanen, 23, has played 16 games with the Islanders' American Hockey League affiliate, the Bridgeport Islanders, this season, posting a 7-5-2 record with a 2.17 goals-against-average and .927 save percentage.
