April 19, 2023 - ALBANY, NY - Former Majority owner of The Albany Empire, of the National Arena League (NAL) Mike Kwarta has announced today that he is no longer affiliated with the team in any way. Kwarta's company TechEast Fire and Water Restoration has been a major sponsor of the Empire since its inception in 2018 and 2019. FB/DL Quashawn Ford Signs with Albany

February 28, 2023 - Albany, NY: The Albany Empire announced today that the team has signed rookie Fullback and Defensive End, Quashawn Ford for the 2023 National Arena League season. Ford played collegiately at Bethel University in McKenzie, TN. During his time at Bethel, Ford appeared in 25 games recording 10.9 rushing yards per game and 6 touchdowns.
