Somerset Patriots Pitcher Tyler Cloyd's Contract Purchased by Seattle Mariners

Bridgewater, NJ - The Somerset Patriots have announced that right-handed pitcher Tyler Cloyd's contract has been purchased by the Seattle Mariners. He will report to the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers. Cloyd previously enjoyed a brief stint with the Patriots in 2017, when he owned a 1.50 ERA over three starts. He also struck out 16 batters over just 12 innings of work before his contract was purchased by the Mariners that season.... Full Story
