Lugnuts to Become... Lansing Locos

LANSING, Mich. - The Lansing Lugnuts are joining Minor League Baseball's award-winning Copa de la Diversión ("Fun Cup") initiative, becoming the Lansing Locos for four games at Cooley Law School Stadium in 2019. In 1996, the Lugnuts burst onto the scene in Lansing, becoming one of the first crazy names in Minor League Baseball and spurring fans to cheer, "Let's Go Nuts!"
