Kelenic and White Go Yard as Rainiers Take Third Straight against Sacramento

AAA West Tacoma Rainiers TACOMA, WA - Designated hitter Evan White gave Tacoma a go-ahead two-run home run in the 6th inning, and left fielder Jarred Kelenic added an insurance run with a 7th inning solo blast, as the Rainiers claimed their third straight victory over the Sacramento River Cats on Monday at Cheney Stadium, 5-1. With the score deadlocked, 1-1, White hit an opposite field blast off Sacramento (14-20) right-hander Gerson Garabito over the right-center field wall. Aces Overcome Six-Run Deficit, Slug Five Homers in 21-16 Win

AAA West Reno Aces SUMMERLIN, Nev. - The Reno Aces exploded for the most runs in a game this season, topping the Las Vegas Aviators 21-16 after falling behind 12- 6 after the third inning. Josh VanMeter led the way for Reno, going three for three with two homers, five RBIs, three runs and four walks. Seven different Aces scored, with six scoring three or more times. VanMeter got the scoring started in a hurry, crushing a ball to center for his fourth homer of the season, scoring Jamie Ritchie and making it a 2-0 lead just two batters into the game for Reno. Express Uses Extra Inning to Secure Series Win over Skeeters

AAA West Round Rock Express SUGAR LAND, Texas - The Round Rock Express (23-12) came out on top in its first extra-inning contest of the season, defeating the Sugar Land Skeeters (20-14) by a final score of 5-4 at Constellation Field on Monday. 1B Curtis Terry hit his 10th home run of the season and second in Sugar Land to push Round Rock to a 4-1 series lead. Express reliever RHP Jake Lemoine (4-0, 1.53) earned his second win of the series with a scoreless 2.0 innings that included two strikeouts.
