Detroit Sends Shai Buium to Grand Rapids
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Detroit Red Wings on Thursday assigned defenseman Shai Buium to the Grand Rapids Griffins. Buium, the 36th overall pick by Detroit in 2021, made his professional debut with the Griffins last season on April 19 at the Iowa Wild, following the conclusion of his junior season at the University of Denver. Railers Get Six Skaters from Bridgeport
WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcester Railers Hockey Club (@RailersHC), proud ECHL (@ECHL) affiliate of the New York Islanders (@NYIslanders), and General Manager & Associate Head Coach Nick Tuzzolino, announced today forwards Matthew Kopperud, Justin Gill, and Jack Randl, along with defensemen Cam McDonald, Christian Krygier, and Matias Rajaniemi have been assigned on loan by the Bridgeport Islanders to the Worcester Railers. Golden State Valkyries Announce Natalie Nakase as Head Coach
The Golden State Valkyries have named Natalie Nakase as head coach, it was announced today. Nakase takes the helm of the Valkyries following over 16 years of coaching professional basketball, including 10 seasons in the NBA with the Los Angeles Clippers, and three seasons as first assistant coach with the Las Vegas Aces. Nakase will report to Valkyries General Manager Ohemaa Nyanin, and begins her tenure with the team on October 21. Phantoms Announce Season Opening Roster
Allentown, PA - The Lehigh Valley Phantoms have officially announced their Season Opening roster for the 2024-25 season. The Phantoms will have 30 players to begin the season including 19 forwards, eight defensemen and three goaltenders.
