Rangers Recall Defenseman Chad Ruhwedel from Wolf Pack

AHL Hartford Wolf Pack HARTFORD, CT - New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Chad Ruhwedel from the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack. Ruhwedel, 34, has recorded three assists in eleven games with the Wolf Pack this season. He has also appeared in one game with the Rangers, posting a +2 +/- rating on Oct. 19, 2024, against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The native of San Diego, CA, split the 2023-24 season between the Rangers and the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was acquired by the Rangers from the Penguins on Mar. 7, 2024. Connor Murphy Recalled by Wranglers

ECHL Rapid City Rush (RAPID CITY, S.D.)- The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames, announced on Friday, via a Heartland Health & Wellness Roster Adjustment, goaltender Connor Murphy has been recalled by the AHL's Calgary Wranglers. Murphy, 26, was assigned to the Rush on October 10th and had been with the club since the beginning of the season. In 11 games, Murphy recorded a 2.86 GAA and .911 save percentage, both team highs. Mayhem Acquire Greco from Quad City

SPHL Macon Mayhem (MACON, Ga.) - The Macon Mayhem, proud members of the SPHL, announced Monday defenseman Michael Greco has been acquired from the Quad City Storm in exchange for forward Dominic Dumas. Greco, 26, from Orillia, Ontario, has made a name for himself as an enforcer in the SPHL since making his debut with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs last season. After a 2022-23 campaign with the Columbus River Dragons in which he recorded 224 penalty minutes in 48 games, he made the leap to the SPHL, and spent time with Roanoke, Evansville, Pensacola, and Quad City.
